Travelling and books. My two favorite ways to experience the world.

I fell in love with traveling at the age of six, when my parents pulled me out of school and we moved to Italy. Field trips to the Colosseum, hide and seek in vineyards, and walks down 2,000-year-old streets became my new normal. Needless to say, I loved every second of it.

After a year, we moved back to San Diego, but the desire to see the world never went away. That’s where reading came in. When I couldn’t be out experiencing new places, I turned to books.

Since then, I’ve traveled to Europe multiple times, visiting my favorite cities and exploring new ones as well. I’ve also read through hundreds of books, searching for an escape to any other part of the world. Now, as an English major at Cal Poly SLO, I spend as much time reading and travelling as possible.

As I begin this blog, I’m heading to Seville, Spain, for 6 weeks abroad. I’ll be living with my college roommate, as we explore the city, surrounding towns, and venture to other countries. I plan to document the entire journey, sharing stories, reviewing food, and offering recommendations from each place we visit. Follow along with me here on the blog or over on Instagram.
